The mission of Bay Life Church is to surrender to God as he makes disciples through us here and around the world. Today, our church is at a critical juncture in our ability to carry out that mission.

Now is the time to Go Forward!

From Pastor Mark.

In 2013, we came together as a church to RISE UP and wipe out a debt that was keeping us from freely answering God’s call to reach our world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through the grace and prompting of God, we were able to eliminate the $3.5 million debt a full six months ahead of our set schedule. If you were here then, you remember the joy we had in obliterating our mortgage. All praise and glory be to God!

Since then, we continue to see lives changed by the power of God on a regular basis around here. Hundreds have put their faith in Christ for the first time since our Rise Up campaign, and today, we stand on the brink of even greater things in this next season of serving God together.

The time has come for us to invest in a future of greater community impact through planting churches, giving more in support of global ministry, and building to minister to our children and students more effectively.

With Lifers like you—men, women, and children committed to Christ and ready to serve Him as He leads—I have complete confidence that we can realize God’s hopes for us as a church.

It is time to GO FORWARD!  And I know with God’s help we can do it!

For His Glory,
Mark Saunders
Lead Pastor

27-Day Spiritual Journey

What lies ahead within these pages is a journey deeper into the Word and presence of God. As you interact with what's prepared for you each day, my prayer is that God will open your eyes and heart to His truth, that you'd be enveloped by His love and grace, and that He would challenge you to be more like Him in every facet of your life. My world tends to trend in the direction of my affections, and we all are reflections of the things that we give our time to in life. If we take time to reflect on God, He typically shows up more in our lives. If we don't, He won't, at least not as much. So as Bay Life "goes forward" and faithfully engages in this portion of our spiritual journey together, I trust that we will all be transformed by the experience, that God will renew our minds so that we can approve of what's good, pursue what's acceptable, and be found within the perfect will of God.

Go Forward Prayer WalkS

Join us to walk around the campus for our Go Forward Prayer Walks. There are 15 specific Prayer Stations and a prayer book to help you navigate the specific areas and specific prayer requests we are lifting up throughout the Go Forward series.

Those walking can pick up booklets in our Prayer Room (Station 1) and navigate from there. Participants may use the booklets to lift up specific needs and/or pray as the Lord leads them for the missions and ministries of Bay Life.

In addition to self-guided walks, there will be leaders available at designated times before and after weekend services. The Go Forward Prayer Walk will allow Lifers to take the time to lift up each ministry's needs and also gain some insight into what goes on in the different ministries within the church.

  • 8:15-9:00am (Before first service)
  • 9:30-10:15am (Before second service)
