At Bay Life, we love to worship! Through music, we hope to accomplish two things: worship our great God and lead our people in doing the same. We do this by seeking to play music that is true, good, and beautiful; to use music that is aesthetically pleasing and also teaches the truth of the Scriptures. We want people to genuinely understand who God is and what He has done through Jesus Christ.

Nothing is more exciting than being part of the sacred experience that we call our worship service every weekend. We believe that we’re commissioned not just to sing songs, but to authentically engage our hearts in the exaltation of the one true God!

Of course, you see the vocalists, instrumentalists, and other artists on stage each week... But that’s just the tip of the iceberg in the Worship Arts Ministry! There are a bunch of other talented volunteers serving in this ministry behind the scenes!

Ever wondered how the roses end up in a vase for Pastor Mark each week, or how the perfect slide appears on screen for the staff person making an announcement? There are lots of volunteers serving each week in Worship Arts making it happen – and there’s definitely a place for you!

Our choir meets weekly on Thursday nights at 7 pm (except in the summer months). No experience is necessary, the only thing needed is a heart to praise the Lord!

Interested in volunteering?

There are tons of opportunities to serve within Worship Arts:

Choir | Everyone is welcome! Practice is on Thursday night at 7 pm in the Worship Center!
Vocalists | After serving a semester in the choir, anyone has the opportunity to audition to join the Vocal Team.
Instrumentalists | We are always looking for musicians who can play various instruments to help us gain a well-rounded sound for every Worship service.
Tech Volunteers | Each week there is a team of unseen servants who dedicate their time to run the sound, lights, CG, cameras, recording stream, and more. If you are interested even a little, we will train you on all aspects!
Stage Production Volunteers | We’ll train you, too!
Drama Volunteers | To offer another perspective, our drama team delivers various skits during our musicals or services. Individuals audition for different positions.
