Good Health
Children who show signs of fever or symptoms of any other contagious illness will not be accepted into the classroom.
Parent Connection
We distribute take home pages for children in our preschool and elementary areas. Please look for those sheets each week. These sheets are designed to help you reinforce the lessons learned during service, as well as provide another time of spiritual connection with your child.
Tips and reminders
Please label all of your child’s belongings. Other than a Bible, we discourage your child from bringing personal items such as toys, cell phones, electronic games, etc. to their classes.
Nursery/Toddlers
Our nursery is filled with wonderful volunteers excited about caring for babies and toddlers from 3 through 23 months of age. Weekly volunteers have committed to serve through the school year, enabling your child to become familiar and comfortable with their teacher, and the teacher comes to know and love your child. Our teachers gently care for your babies and toddler’s physical needs, as well as their spiritual needs through sharing Jesus with them in music and stories.
Preschool
Our preschool area is ready to receive your children, ages two – five, with joy and care. Each week, your child will be exposed to his or her first Bible truths through praise and worship, Bible story time, and through Life Groups in our older classes. Your child will love his or her class, and will learn how much God loves them.
Kids Live
Kindergarten through fourth grade: In Kids Live, your son or daughter will experience great practical and compelling Bible teaching. Kids will be challenged to memorize scripture, as well as develop community and discipleship in the context of Life Groups.
Transitional Ministry – Fifth Grade
Our fifth grade time is designed to bridge the gap between elementary and middle school. The students experience challenging teaching, fun, and fellowship in Life Groups during this special year.
First Step Classes
These classes are designed to teach basic principles of the faith to elementary aged children who have expressed an interest in baptism. During First Step, your child will learn the meaning of baptism and will confirm his or her salvation. Teachers will also instruct them regarding communion and church membership. A parent is required to attend these classes with each child. Check the church bulletin and calendar for the dates of the next scheduled classes.
Baby Dedication
Bay Life Church observes parent commitment and infant dedication. This is a special time when parents thank God for the loan of a precious new life and pledge themselves to follow the Lord’s leadership in the development of the child’s life. Dedication services are scheduled twice a year, on Mother’s Day and in November. You may request an application by writing "Baby Dedication" on your completed Welcome Card or by obtaining an application as these two services draw near.
