What is a Life Group?

At Bay Life Church, Life Groups are the place where you’ll make genuine friendships, learn from God’s word and discover how God is leading you to serve. Our groups generally consist of 10-15 people that meet in homes, coffee shops and on the Bay Life campus and cover 12-14 week, 90 minute bible-based studies. There are three basic group types: Learning, Connecting and Serving. We also offer mentoring opportunities.

How do I register?

When our registration season is active, click on the "Register Now" button in the sidebar; scroll through the different days of the week to find a Life Group offering that interests you; then just click on the register now button and follow the easy instructions. That’s it! You’ll get a confirmation e-mail and a welcome call from your group leader within a few days. To attend your preferred group you must register online.

When do Life Groups close?

Groups close when registration for that group reaches it maximum attendance number or at the end of the second week of the semester.

How much does it cost?

Life Groups are free if your group doesn’t require study materials. If your group does use a text or workbook, each member of the group is responsible to pay for their session materials. The listed price on our site is the current price at Amazon.com. Order your materials at your preferred book-seller once you’ve received a confirmation email from your Life Group leader.

Is childcare available?

We provide childcare for children ages 3 months through starting 5th grade in the Children/Student bldg on our campus.

$5 per child (max $10 per family)
