Join our Women's Ministry for our next Book Club event. We read a new book and meet from 9-11am to discuss them. Our meetings are every other month and frequently the last Saturday of the month, but may vary if needed. We will always let you know. We find a tasty and fun location, based on the number of people, and then contact those who have registered. It will be a great time of fun, laughs, and discussion. So please be sure to register if you are interested.

As soon as you see books you love, register for those events. All women are welcome.

Oneness Embraced - Reconciliation, the Kingdom and How We are Stronger Together  by Tony Evans

ISBN: 978-0802412669

Oneness is hard achieve. Let the kingdom unity of Scripture point the way.

Today’s world is torn apart. Tension is everywhere. Brother is pitted against brother, sister against sister, citizen against citizen, even Christian against Christian. It’s so hard to find agreement—much less real harmony—in our polarized society. Can there be a way forward?

In this book, you’ll get:

  • A Biblical Look at Oneness
  • A Historical View of the Black Church
  • A Kingdom Vision for Societal Impact

Although oneness is hard to achieve, the Christian must never stop striving. It’s a kingdom imperative. As Tony reminds us, “Glorifying God is our ultimate goal. Oneness exists to enable us to reach our goal.”

If you have not had this conversation with a diverse group of believers, this is your opportunity. Come with an open heart and a willingness to listen as well as be heard. Save your spot today.

Nothing to Prove: Why We Can Stop Trying So Hard  by Jennie Allen

ISBN: 978-1601429629

All too many of us struggle under the weight of life, convinced we need to work harder to prove to ourselves, to others, and to God that we are good enough, smart enough, and spiritual enough to do the things we believe we should.

Author and Bible teacher Jennie Allen invites us into a different experience, one in which our souls overflow with contentment and joy. In Nothing to Prove she calls us to…
* Find freedom from self-induced pressure by admitting we’re not enough—but Jesus is
* Admit our greatest needs and watch them be filled by the only One who can meet them
* Make it our goal to know and love Jesus, then watch what He does in and through us
As you wade into the refreshing truth of the more-than-enough life Jesus offers, you’ll experience the joyous freedom that comes to those who are determined to discover what God can do through a soul completely in love with Him.

Join us to discuss what this freedom might look like in your life. Save your spot today.
