Middle School (6th–8th Grade)
For a lot of middle school kids, it’s all about “me.” And here at Bay Life, we build on that—in a good way.
Our aim is to get our middle school students to own their faith. To realize their relationship with Christ is no longer about what mom and dad believe, but instead, it’s about them owning their own faith.
We want to motivate our middle school students to take personal responsibility for their spiritual health and growth, and to take seriously the Great Commission. Once they start catching on to these simple truths, they’ll naturally realize that it’s not all about “me” … and that will be a beautiful thing to watch.
Each week, students experience a combination of worship, games, a challenging message, and most importantly, interaction with a small group.
Middle School Ministry
Wednesdays | 6:30–8:30pm
Sundays | 10:45am
Middle School Ministry meets Wednesday evenings in the Student Center from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Our services include group games, time of worship, sermon from our Middle School Pastor, and small group time. We also offer a Sunday morning service for our Middle School students during the 10:45am service. Sunday mornings we meet in the Loft (located in the Student Center). Our Sunday service includes interactive Bible teaching, games, prayer, and opportunities to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord and other middle school students.

REACH TEAMS

Our great God has created us to know Him and make Him known among the nations. Each year Bay Life Church sends out over 100 students and adults on trips to proclaim His name, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and make known His great deeds among the nations for the glory of God. This year we will be offering our students the opportunity again to bring hope and new life to those in South Carolina and through our local Kidapalooza missions team.
2024 REACH TEAMS
Kidapalooza & Kidapalooza Jr. (June 4-7 & June 10-14)
Not only will you have the opportunity to help Children’s Ministry get ready for an awesome Kidapalooza, but you will also help us with KPA Jr.! KPA Jr. is our initiative to have the Kidapalooza experience we all know and love but specifically designed for kids that are just entering and leaving kindergarten. This team will plan, prepare, and execute this four-day event, each morning during the week, and then help in preparing for the Kidapalooza events the next week.
Florence, SC (June 23 - June 29)
Florence is located only 1.5 hours away from the bustling coastal cities of South Carolina but offers a very different feel. Life seems to move a little slower here, and that’s refreshing. Florence is home to many community and global ministries. Our team will take part in serving alongside these ministries that are already making an impact in Florence. Students will also plan, prepare, and present a 3-day VBS for local children. Throughout the week, our group will be able to bless people in need, share the gospel with local children, and grow as leaders for Christ’s Kingdom.

2024 Middle School Summer Camp
August 3–5 | Camp Gilead, Polk County, FL
Are you ready for the best weekend of your summer!? Middle School Camp is the best way to hang out with your friends, have a ton of fun, discover your greater purpose, and grow in your relationship with God! There will be tons of activities such as swimming, camp games, archery and more!
