Sunday Foundations Classes
Every Sunday, from 02/04/2018 to 05/20/2018, 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Foundations classes are pre-seminary level education providing weekly lectures / classes focused on building in-depth Bible knowledge and advanced theological understanding. This program is open to Bay Life members via application process, and includes substantial preparation and reading assignments and class pre-requisites.
For Sundays during Spring, 2018 you may choose one of the following classes:
Pauline Epistles II - Paul was a master of theology, a pastor and mentor to many, and gave us a vision of what it means to be an effective missionary and church planter. Paul teaches us about the workings of the church, while calling us into deeper relationship with Christ. In Pauline Epistles II, we will be covering Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon. Step in and go deep. Course materials covered by annual fee.
Old Testament Survey - Throughout the Old Testament writings, we see the thread of redemption pointing to Jesus, our Redeemer. As you learn the history of the Israelites found in the Old Testament, you will begin to get a better understanding of New Testament writings. This course will focus on historical context, writing types, and the history of the people through whom the Messiah came. Remember that this is a survey class, so you will be touching the highlights. Course materials covered by annual fee.
