Photography and Video Release

Please know that photography and video recording of public events and classes is always going on at Bay Life Church and our campuses. Your entry onto Bay Life property signifies your consent to the possibility that your image may be used by Bay Life Church. 

Sharing photos and videos of parishioners and events at Bay Life Church is a privilege for us, and we intend to respect and honor it.

In this digital age, Bay Life Church takes numerous pictures and videos of baptisms, choir performances and concerts, worship services, mission trips, special presentations, Life Groups, kids events, fellowship activities and community outreach projects. We use these pictures to record, to promote, and to celebrate our church ministries. Pictures are used in print media, digital and video presentations, and on our church web site and social media.

• Photos and videos are almost always of people in public worship spaces, and/or at public events.
• We will not knowingly post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable or hurtful to anyone in a photo or video.
• Unless previous permission is granted, we do not identify children or youth by name in photos and videos we use in our online and printed publications.
• To ensure the privacy of children and adults, the use of full names or personal identifying information requires verbal approval for adults and written approval for children from the parent or legal guardian.
• If copyright for a photo or video is held by someone other than Bay Life Church, we will receive permission to post it and gladly provide credit if desired by the photographer.
• We will gladly remove any photo or video upon request from our online sites. If you see a photo that includes you or your child and would like it removed from the site, please call 813-661-3696 (ext 343) or notify the site administrator at   with the details (please include where you saw it, and if online, the exact weblink or social media post).

Permissions for Use of Our Media and Content
We ask for your respect in return. Unless otherwise indicated, photographs and videos are the property of and are copyrighted by Bay Life Church and may not be used for any purpose (including but not limited to: downloading, printing, distributing, linking) without permission from Bay Life Church.

We grant permission for limited sharing of our media and content. You may share YouTube Videos, website articles and Facebook stories on social media. You may link to our posted content but may not download and share content on a personal web page without permission. Please add attribution to Bay Life Church for any media you share with permission.

Legal-ease Specific Release:

1.     I do hereby, on my own behalf and/or on behalf of my child/ward, grant Bay Life Church, all subsidiaries, related and affiliated entities, and all their officers, directors, employees, agents, insurers, successors and assigns (the “Released Parties”) the irrevocable right and permission to photograph or otherwise record me or my child/ward in connection with Bay Life events, and to use the photograph, video, or digital recording (“Photograph”) for all purposes, including advertising and promotional purposes, in any manner in any and all media now or hereafter known, in perpetuity throughout the world, without restriction as to alteration. I waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the Photograph, and acknowledge and agree that the rights granted by this Release are without compensation of any kind. 

2.     I acknowledge and agree that I have no right, title or interest in the Photographs and agree that such Photographs and the copyright therein are the exclusive property of the Released Parties. I, individually and on behalf of my child/ward, agree to release and discharge the Released Parties from any claims, actions, damages, demands, costs, expenses (including attorneys’ fees) or lawsuits of any kind by reason of the sale, distribution or use of such photographs or recordings.
