Backpack Bonanza 2026

A new school year is almost here, but for many families in our community, backpacks and school supplies can be a significant expense.
That’s why Bay Life is partnering with the Hillsborough County Fair, Hillsborough County Public Schools, and other local churches, nonprofits, and businesses for the Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, August 1, at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds.
This free community event will include helpful resources, family activities, and backpacks filled with school supplies for local students who need them.
Here’s how you can help: Donate new backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other basic school supplies in the collection boxes located in the church lobby and near the Missions Café. You can donate individual supplies or fill an entire backpack using the supply list below.

If your family could use some help preparing for the school year, join us at the event. The backpack giveaway is walk-up only, and no advance registration is required.
