Baptism 101

Sunday, June 11, 2023 | 9am and 10:45am gathering in the Worship Center Lobby

Baptism is a significant event in a believer's spiritual journey. Baptism 101 is our prerequisite class in which we share the biblical foundation for baptism, important information about baptism at Bay Life, schedule the specific time for baptism, and explain how the process will work.

The next Baptism 101 classes are set for Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 9am or 10:45am. You will only need to attend one of these classes. Registering for Baptism 101 does not mean that you are committing yourself to be baptized. We simply take it as an indication that you have a desire to explore further the meaning and significance of this event.

Our next baptism celebrations will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Bondage Breaker

Sundays, July 23 - October 1, 2023 | 10:45am - 12pm

Spiritual warfare has often been described as the battle for our minds. Galatians 5:1 tells us, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." The "yoke of slavery" that Paul is referring to are harmful habits, negative thinking, and irrational feelings that keep us in bondage, incapable of enjoying our freedom in Jesus. Join us as we discover the reality behind these bondages and how to be set free from them. Come see how you can live a life of freedom in Jesus.

Bondage Breaker is an 11-week class that will help participants understand how the enemy attacks and how to successfully stand firm in the armor of God. The class will use the book and study guide "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil T. Anderson. Participants are asked to purchase the book ad study guide. Both books are available with your registration for $16.

Share Your Faith with Confidence

Sundays, March 19, 2023 - May 21, 2023 | 10:45am - 12pm
Most Christians want to share their faith, but often do not because of fear - fear of being rejected, fear of not knowing enough, fear of offending others, or fear of being ridiculed. This class will teach you proven techniques for having thoughtful discussions about faith and getting people to think about Jesus. Course material is based upon "Tactics: a Guide to Effectively Discussing Your Christian Convictions," by Gregory Koukl. You may purchase your workbook for $15 with your registration or from the retail outlet of your choice.

Join us for nine weeks, as we learn how to share our faith with confidence in an ever changing world.

Registration is currently closed.

Multiply: Discipleship Basics

Sundays, March 19, 2023 - April 23, 2023 | 10:45am - 12pm
In Matthew 28, Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to follow His commands. In one word, this is discipleship. Discipleship is the process of intentionally equipping believers with the Word of God through accountability relationships empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to replicate faithful followers of Christ. Join us as we embark on a 5-week discipleship journey in which you will be equipped to be the disciple-maker that God has called each of us to be.

Multiply: Discipleship Basics meets every Sunday for five weeks during second service. There is no cost. Optional books will be available to purchase. If you have a Bible, bring it. If not, we would love to help you get one.

Registration is now closed. Please contact Lacie Krantz, for more information about discipleship.

Wired: Discovering God's Gifts in You

Sundays, March 19, 2023 - April 30, 2023 | 10:45am - 12pm

Paul tells us in Romans 12, "For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them." Join us as we discover how God has uniquely wired us to be a part of the body of Christ. We will walk through a personality assessment, a spiritual gifts assessment, and multiple passages of Scripture on this journey of discovery. Come see how you can be used by God for His eternal purposes.
