Mission Statement
The Lambkins program is a 2026 Award Winning childcare support ministry of Bay Life Church. The mission of the program is to provide a quality, Christian education to the children of our community, while ministering to the whole family. Our goal is to disciple children and to encourage, teach, and challenge parents to establish and maintain a healthy, God-centered family life. Lambkins will strive to always provide a consistent atmosphere for children to grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Why Families Choose Lambkins
Your child is known by name. Small classes mean a teacher who knows your child’s quirks, their comfort object, and exactly what makes them laugh.
Real academics, not just playtime. Abeka phonics, reading, writing, and math — plus Spanish and sign language — so Pre‑K graduates start kindergarten ready and confident.
Faith woven through the day. Daily classroom devotions and weekly chapel, taught in words a young child can actually hold onto.
Schedules built for real life. Two, three, or five days. Half day or full. Care from 7:30 to 5:30, twelve months a year.
We back up parents — we don’t replace them. You shape your child’s character more than anyone. Our job is to reinforce what you are already building at home.
Every family is welcome. You do not have to attend Bay Life Church to enroll at Lambkins.
Philosophy
Lambkins strives to provide a nurturing, Christian environment where children know they are loved. Our classes provide an environment where:
- Bible-based teaching promotes Christian values
- As part of a Christian community, children will learn to see themselves as unique through Christ’s love and acceptance
- Your child’s spiritual and cognitive growth is nurtured through innovative teaching appropriate to his/her stage of development
- Each child’s self-esteem is developed through positive reinforcement and acceptance

Our Vision
We believe the best way to reach the hearts of children is to help them grow in their relationship with God and their parents. The relationship that children have with their parents impacts their faith and lasts a lifetime. Thus, the vision of the Lambkins program is to minister to families as a whole, through establishing relationships and providing resources through Bay Life’s parenting ministry.
The Lambkins program, focused by the vision of Bay Life Church, helps to teach families and children to become, and to make, disciples of Christ through promoting church-sponsored activities. Lambkins will continue to encourage Christ-followers to become more involved in the lives of their children and the ministries of their church.
Programs & Ages
| PROGRAM | AGES | SCHEDULE OPTIONS |

| Threes · K3 | Three year olds | 2, 3, or 5 days · half or full day |

Curriculum
Lambkins utilizes the Christian Abeka curriculum, which focuses on reading, writing, and arithmetic. We also add our own programs and activities to enhance the educational experience. We believe children learn the best with hands-on opportunities from creativity in art, dramatic play, science, and music. Phonics, quality children’s literature, the alphabet, numbers, and writing skills are used to provide a full range of educational experiences.
Spanish and sign language are part of the program for our two, three, and four year olds. Our ones begin with sign language.
Our K4 goes further than VPK.
Lambkins is not a free state VPK site. Our K4 is a full pre‑kindergarten year — reading, writing, math, Spanish, sign language, and classes small enough to catch what a large room misses. It ends with a graduation ceremony families remember for years.
“A government run VPK program rarely introduces reading, Spanish, sign language, etc. and by the time our son left he was reading sentences independently. That has set him up to be ahead of his class every year since.” — Kirsty R., Brandon

What Parents Say
“The strong foundation in phonics made a huge difference. Our children entered kindergarten confident with letter sounds, blending, and early reading. Just as importantly, they were comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and managing emotions.”
Michele G. · Valrico, FL
“When we dropped our son off at Lambkins at just three months old, we had no idea how profoundly a daycare could impact our family. Because of Lambkins, he has been well prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond, with strong foundations in math, writing, reading, and the Bible.”
Devon G. · Seffner, FL
“What truly distinguished Lambkins was its consistent nurturing environment that supported them not just academically, but physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Bible-based curriculum instilled Christian values that remain central to their character today.”
Claudia R. · Brandon, FL · four Lambkins graduates
“I grew up at Lambkins with my mom, and many of the teachers are still there. Decades later, my daughter had the opportunity to walk through the same doors before beginning kindergarten. That continuity is rare, meaningful, and deeply impactful.”
Krista P. · Lakeland, FL
“The care and relationships don’t feel transactional; they feel genuine. Our children still talk about their teachers and love seeing them, which says everything.”
Zach G. · Valrico, FL
