Widowed? Help is here and hope is possible. Do you dread the lonely days and nights? Wonder what to do with your spouse’s belongings? Feel like your brain is in a fog? Unsure of how you’ll go on? As you know, the death of a spouse brings a unique kind of pain. People who are widowed haven’t just lost a loved one—they’ve lost an entire lifestyle. That’s why we are hosting Loss of a Spouse (a grief support seminar).
At a Loss of a Spouse seminar you’ll discover:
• Other people understand and have found ways to make it through
• Why it won’t always hurt so much
• Reasons for hope
• Practical tips for coping with the death of a spouse
This Loss of a Spouse seminar has 3 distinct components: 1) watching a video seminar which contains experts in grief and individuals who have experienced the loss of a spouse; 2) a brief support group discussion related to the video topic; and 3) a guidebook for note taking during the video. This guidebook contains helpful and encouraging exercises for you the read, work through and apply to your personal situation in the days to come.
