Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they've ever faced. It is a confusing time when you may feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you've never faced before. The emotional damage cuts to the soul. True healing for this kind of pain can only come from God's presence in the life of the person experiencing it. DivorceCare groups are Christ-centered and meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each Divorce Care session has 3 distinct elements: first, watching a 30-40 minute DVD session where top experts speak on the subject of divorce and separation and individuals share their stories; secondly after viewing the video, group participants will spend time as a group discussing what was presented in the video and also share what is going on in their life. The third element is use of the participant workbook in session and also at home throughout the week (to complete brief topic-related Scripture studies.)
