Welcome to The Chapel

Launched in 2016, The Chapel is Bay Life Church’s campus in Seffner, that continues to grow in size and positive impact in the Mango/Seffner community. The Chapel's mission and prayer is to share the life-changing good news about Jesus Christ, in our immediate surrounding neighborhoods and community, for many generations to come.

Weekend services are on Sundays at 9:00am & 10:45am. Come early and join in our adult bible study at 8:00am. (No childcare provided.) During our 10:45 worship service, children 3 months- 5th grade can have their own time of fun and learning by joining us in our children's ministry.

Meet Our Campus Pastor

In July 2020, The Chapel welcomed our new pastor, Richard Toussaint, his wife Janice, and their two amazing children (infant daughter not pictured). We feel the Holy Spirit led Pastor Richard to us, and his heart for ministry and the surrounding area will help lead The Chapel to make a profound impact in our community!

What’s Worship Like?

Worship at The Chapel is filled with a blend of traditional and contemporary music and biblical teaching. Music is lead by our Worship Leader, Mercedes Castro.

Our Campus Pastor, Richard Toussaint, along with the rest of our staff, host a service that offers a place for people to find community and feel like family. There are plenty of opportunities for individuals and families to connect and serve where their talents and gifts can be developed and appreciated. We are always available to answer your questions. Just email us at

How Should I Dress?

Dress comfortably! Most people will be wearing casual and comfortable clothes.

What About My Kids?

Our Chapel Kids program offers a ministry to children from 3 months through 5th grade during our 10:45am service. We use the Gospel Project curriculum which takes kids on a Christ-centered, three year chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. Email our Chapel Children's Coordinator, Tammy Paul, for more information.

How does The Chapel partner with our community?

The Chapel has partnered with Mango Elementary School, as one of the ways we have chosen to reach out and support our community. This video, from May 2020, shows gift bags being distributed by the teachers, that The Chapel assembled and contributed, to help celebrate their graduating 5th graders.

How can I work with The Chapel to serve our community?

We are always looking for ways we can make an impact in our community. Since The Chapel is located so close to Mango Elementary School, we are continuing to make strides in partnering with their faculty and families. Because they are a Title 1 school, there are many low income families that need assistance, especially with food. The Chapel created a food pantry within the school, and with the help of our volunteers and community partners, we continue to keep the pantry fully stocked. If you have any margin in your schedule and you would like to make a positive impact, this is a great way to start.
